Volume I gave 105 The Cliffs Parkway four pages. Volume II put Damian’s answer for South Carolina in The Council on page 74, then opened its golf feature with 15 Water View Court on page 88. Every one of them points back to the Upstate.
The magazine built its golf feature, Par excellence, around six homes on the market worldwide, from Marbella to Naples. The first of them, given the full opening page, is 15 Water View Court at The Cliffs Valley in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
Encircled by the Blue Ridge Mountains, this home on The Cliffs Valley golf course overlooks the fairways from its own private peninsula.Christie’s International Real Estate Magazine, page 89
The Council is the invitation-only group of 30 agents Christie’s International Real Estate selected in 2026, from roughly 10,000 in its network, to advise its leadership. For this issue, Christie’s International Real Estate Magazine asked Council members what they are seeing in their own markets. South Carolina’s answer was Damian’s, in full:
Which property features are commanding the biggest premiums in your market?
Water frontage tops the list and it is not close. True Lake Keowee waterfront has appreciated steadily while everything around it normalized. Behind that, long-range mountain views, the kind you cannot lose to a neighbor’s future rooftop.
In the equestrian segment, the premium goes to infrastructure done right: a properly built barn, an all-weather arena, fenced and irrigated pasture, and direct trail access. Buyers can price a house; they struggle to price what it costs to build a first-class equestrian set-up from scratch. Club access matters. A completed membership at The Cliffs, a collection of seven gated mountain and lake communities, transfers real value with the deed. And a recently completed renovation now functions like a feature in itself.
The spring issue gave 105 The Cliffs Parkway, at The Cliffs at Glassy, a four-page property spotlight. Damian, quoted in it:
When you get around the back, the views just drop away in front of you. It is absolutely incredible.Damian Hall, Christie’s International Real Estate Magazine, 2026 Volume I

A listing on the MLS reaches people already searching the Upstate. Christie’s International Real Estate Magazine reaches the people who were not: it is mailed to select clients of Christie’s, the auction house, and carried in its offices and salerooms in London, New York, Paris, Geneva, Milan, Amsterdam, Zurich, Dubai, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Beyond those rooms it goes to five-star hotels, private jet and airport lounges, private members’ clubs and marinas, and to every Christie’s International Real Estate affiliate for its own clients. The fashion houses know exactly who that reader is: Volume II carries full spreads from Gucci and Bottega Veneta.
The readers are ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth buyers of fine art, luxury goods and multimillion-dollar property. The issue is also promoted through the network’s newsletters, a dedicated page on christiesrealestate.com, and its Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and TikTok channels.
Full-page placement in the magazine is an optional channel for DHG listings. We will tell you whether your home is a fit and what it costs before you decide. The Council seat works either way: when your buyer is more likely to be in Miami, Park City or Los Angeles than in Greenville, Damian calls a colleague he sits with, by name, the week your home goes live, one of 30 agents the network selected from roughly 10,000.

Page 74 is the short version of how we price. The long version starts with a walk through your home and a conversation about timing, and the Seller’s Field Guide covers everything that follows.
